The Interior Department's top lawyer, Solicitor William G. Myers, has 
banned two Interior attorneys - Timothy S. Elliott and Edith R. 
Blackwell - from further involvement with the Cobell litigation  and 
any related individual Indian trust matters.

A court-appointed federal monitor recently reported that Elliott and 
Blackwell worked to keep the truth from Judge Lamberth about Interior's 
failed trust reform activities.
