Adriane Spirit Song Falcon is fifteen years old of Mejica and Apache descent. She sings and plays various instruments including the Native American flute, European style flute, alto clarinet, clarinet, oboe and piano. Adriane has been performing since she was 9 years old. She has participated in theatre (singing, dancing and acting) most recently at the University of South Florida in the play "The Wheel of Everturning" depicting the similarities between Native American and Australian Aboriginal history. She has been a featured speaker and performer at Grade Schools, Junior Highs, High Schools, Universities and Churches. Spirit Song is an accomplished Native flutist as well as a natural singer with a three-octave range, singing native songs in English and various native dialects at POWWOWS and other Native American events and Ceremonies throughout Florida. For Adriane, being Native American and attending these functions insures the future for her and her people. She adds a unique touch to any event she has been involved in and looks forward to spending time with her native relations.
Adriane not only excels in Native American functions she is also the Drum major for her high school and served two years as drum major in Junior High. She seeks to help and improve the world around her by contributing many hours of community service whenever and wherever she can.
