Mary-ann is a young female dachshund/terrier mix, an extremely sweet, cute little girl, who is at the Mason County Animal Shelter in Point Pleasant, WV. She's got pretty black and white markings, she's small, she's friendly and loving, and she's only a year old... an almost perfect pet. Please, can someone save her?

Despite extreme measures to avoid having to gas the dogs, the county forced the shelter's hands. Many dogs have already died. We don't know which ones will be next.

A year isn't a very long life. Please don't let little Mary-ann's life end in a gas chamber. If you can help, please email Judy at catndog_AT_ezwv_DOT_com for more info. Judy is extremely overwhelmed right now, trying to save all of the dogs at the shelter. To speed up the process, rescues, please contact Sally at Sallylewis321_AT_aol_DOT_com. She’s coordinating the rescue efforts, and we ask that all rescue requests be directed to her.
