Welcome to Baba's Barn

Foreward - ewebtribe.com began in 1998 by Baba's mother Star Spider Dancing. Star Spider Dancing passed in October of 2003. Since her passing the websites she created have remained online and mostly in original form and serving hundreds of thousands of visitors. Now that Baba is, well Baba, the site is going to be transformed a bit. This Home Landing page will include Baba's Blog, Baba's Shop and of course the original ewebtribe sites menu. Along with adding these components to the site the original content will be updated to correct broken links. CUrrently there are 300 links broken across the sites. It will take some time, but we are fixing them one by one. EWEBTRIBE SECTION IS BELOW Babas Shop

Baba's Barn is all about creating. Baba creates with paper, cardstock, fabric, wood and anything else she can think of or is inspired by to create with. The blog will showcase those creations with information for those who might want to learn some of the crafts, such as cardmaking. We are also adding a shop "Baba's Shop". Baba's Shop will have items for sale handmade by Baba. We do hope you enjoy the addition of Baba's Barn to ewebtribe!

Please do take a moment and look at some of the things I have created for Family and Friends in the Blog Section down below. I enjoy creating for others, trying new techniques and mediums and sharing tips, tricks and Fails and of course my creative successes!
If you have come here looking for the ORIGINAL ewebtribe dot com website do not fret. The content is here! Scroll down below Baba's Shop and you will find it. The only missing content is that which pointed to a site that no longer exists. We are searching for alternate comparable content to replace those we had to remove. Star Spider Dancing was my mother and I will continue to keep the content she created online to further the education and interest of all those who come.
Thank you for visiting ! ~Baba

Baba's Blog

November 2021
The last week of November is always a busy time. Not only does the family celebrate Thanksgiving but we also have many birthdays. This year Healing Eagle Feather aka Dedo, Poppa John, and my personal favorite DOODOO (as the youngest calls him), turned 60 !

To commemorate the big day, Baba tried her crafty hands at creating this Vintage Truck. This truck measures 12 inches long and six inches tall. Complete with a bench seat, steering wheel and vintage style dash. This truck was created with heavy cardstock for the body, recycled cardboard for the frame. Glitter cardstock was used for chrome accents and balloons, heart sequins for taillights and Glossy Accents on glitter paper for headlights. A beautiful wreath colored with Tim Holtz Mica Distress Crayons (Holiday 2021) hangs on the grill. #TimHoltzHoliday2021 #VintageTruck #3dPaperCraft #Papercrafting #60thBirthday #SilhouetteAmerica

Follow Your Dreams

This is a simple A2 size card utilizing heat embossing and ink blending.
An A2 size card is simply a card that measures 4.25" wide by 5.50" tall when folded.
Many of the best cardmakers use "mat and layer" to achieve a refined professional look in their cards.
Mat and layering is achieved by starting with your base card, a layer on the front that is at least 1/8" smaller than the base. Then the front layer that is again at least 1/8" smaller than the layer.
In my Follow your dreams card the base is an A2 size card base of a sunny orange color, the first layer is black cardstock and the front is Ink Blended. The bit with the words is called a Banner, which is made with black cardstock.
I have used Tim Holtz distress oxide inks to create the blended colors and spritzed it with water to create the patchy effect. Using Versamark clear ink I have stamped with Simon Says Stamp Dandelions Stamp covered with white embossing power and heat set. The same clear versamark and powder used for the sentiment "Follow Your Dreams".
